Local 4-Hers experience quadcopters, find new uses for electric toothbrush motors, create light-up and fashionable wrist bands through sew-able circuitry, and more!
Last summer, HughesNet sponsored a STEM day at 4-H West Virginia's summer camp at Jackson's Mill. With a record breaking number of 4-Hers in attendance, the students had a unique opportunity to experience STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities, ranging from robotics to 3D printing and more! Check out our video to hear last year's camp attendees talk about the curriculum that included energy and wind turbines, sewable circuitry, quadcopters, and even finding new uses for electric toothbrush motors. We look forward to seeing all of the participants at this year's HughesNet sponsored STEM Days!
