What is Hughesnet satellite internet?
Hughesnet® is high-speed satellite internet. Satellite internet is available everywhere, even in areas with slow DSL and where fiber and cable options will not reach. With satellite internet, the signal is sent from a satellite to a satellite dish mounted on your property, which connects to a modem inside.

What are my plan options and what makes them different?
Satellite plans use the latest satellite technologies to allow you to stay connected, stream movies and play online games. Hughesnet Fusion® plans blend the best of satellite and wireless technologies into a single connection. With a Fusion plan, your service feels faster and more responsive, especially when using time-sensitive applications. You can enjoy real-time gaming with a low-latency connection.
Home Satellite Internet Plans:
Your service plan comes with a set amount of Priority Data each month, which is always prioritized ahead of Standard Data on the network. Your Priority Data automatically resets with each billing cycle. If you use all your Priority Data, Standard Data kicks in automatically. There's no limit on how much Standard Data you can use, so you'll never get cut off or pay overage fees.
The more connected devices you have, the quicker you will consume your Priority Data. Hughesnet is not recommended as a full-time video streaming replacement for TV service or console-based gaming activities because they quickly consume your Priority Data. Multiplayer games requiring rapid response are only supported with Hughesnet Fusion plans. VPNs, where you sign into a VPN application to access your work network directly, will significantly reduce service speeds. All plans are subject to the Hughesnet Subscriber Agreement.
